I wonder whether citizens are adequately informed about the legal protections available (and those unavailable) when sharing their biometric data with smartphone companies. Should we enhance technological literacy, given that we are increasingly sharing our biometric imprints for access, which are gradually becoming part of someone else's infrastructure?
