Fiberglass Cranking Tatula XT Rod?

have a cabelas gift card to spend and was looking at maybe getting a new rod instead of more baits. Stumbled upon the fiberglass cranking tatulat xt rod and was thinking i could use that for jerkbaits, lipless cranks, chatterbaits, and topwater walking baits. Would that be a good use for it? or better options out there? Dont really throw true crankbaits ever.

Trying to modify my daiwa d-box medium deep to hold coikes. Doesn’t anyone know what kind of wire they ship with?
