I have a 2021 id.4 that had an underbody deer strike. The body shop did their repairs (coolant system including radiator replacement, replacing the bottom panels including rear control arm shield, lots of front bumper/fender work), and we asked for a HV battery inspection. They sublet to a VW dealer, and the documentation they gave us is a written ok from the tech on the invoice, and later a raw xml showing the GFF scan was ‘intermediate’.

I want to protect our battery warranty and be safe—am I being unreasonable by asking for a finalized protocol, physical inspection, and coolant pressure test? That’s how the dealer and adjuster are making me feel the last few weeks of refusing to do them. They said the systems are so sensitive any fault would have shown up. Looking for opinions, thanks!
