The unwanted type of publicity
Just saw this news this morning. I must say, when Mr Beast investment was made, I thought it was a good investment to onboard the Millennials and GenZs who are new or inexperienced to the investing community. But the only concern I had at that time was the Mr Beast reputation. One bad publicity (sexual misconduct, workplace discrimination - racial or sexual, etc.) and the entire 200mil investment goes down the drain.
Well, this is the start. Once you are famous (and certainly Mr Beast himself being the face of the company is), what you do or say is going to look at through the microscope. Interesting to see how to navigate going forward. Hope this is the only time we hear of this.
