I still believe the events of The Flash caused a fracture in time and space, creating pocket universes. That could explain why some things changed like the ending of Peacemaker Season 1 almost like a Mandela Effect, where certain details stay the same while others shift.
However i don’t get why everyone including Snyder fans keeps criticizing James Gunn’s universe for not making sense just because The Suicide Squad and Blue Beetle are canon. The DC timeline has always been messy.
Even during Zack Snyder’s era and the DC TV shows, there was never a clear explanation for things like a different Superman after Superman Returns or having two versions of The Flash at the same time. No one was calling the The Flash or Superman & Lois “Elseworlds” back then.
So why are we suddenly so bothered by it now? 🤷♂️
