QUICK UPDATE
My DNA company is finally gaining traction with Fulton County. We are having meaningful discussions, and exhuming the remains might be on the table in the near future. Stay tuned for fundraising.
This is what we know now for fact:
- Sample of scalp hair retained
- Nuclear Factor I retained from flesh (helpful to extract DNA from)
- All clothing, the billfold, the notes, everything is with Georgia State Crime Lab
- We have exact measurement of the clothing but no brand
- Dentures retained with zero real teeth involved (likely suction dentures)
- Bones were retained specifically a calcified larynx
- Bones were found in the area years later but unknown if it relates
- No records of burial so far indicates GSCL has his bones in their possession
Will keep everyone updated. It seems we might actually have a chance to extract DNA here, but there isn't a definite yes or no yet.
