Josh Moreau Appreciation
I had the pleasure of some great seats for this incredible tour (love the new record, the setlist and the vibes / motif of the record and live show).
One thing that really stood out to me in person was Josh.
His playing is fantastic. The signature growl of the Ric sounds so damn good when he uses it… and his other bass I think was fretless? Which really allowed a lot of great expression. Props to him for playing a fretless on a dark stage too hah.
Anyway, I just really loved his playing. Many Puscifer songs are very bass-forward in the riff and melody… love Mat’s writing for that. And Josh expresses this really well.
I first caught him during an epic Mars Volta reunion tour in 2022… love his playing and vibe.
Absolutely killer show and tour. Josh is the man.
