I’m mid-way through painting up Skaventide and I’m starting to get analysis paralysis.
I decided to use the Clans Pestilence paint scheme because I just loved it. I’ve painted up half the Clanrats, the Rat Ogres, Grey Seer and Warlock Engineer.
I’m really happy with the Clanrats, but should I have painted the others more thematically i.e. the Ogres as Moulder or the Engineer as Skyre?
And what about the units still to paint? Should I paint the Warpblaster and Jezzails as Skyre? Should I paint the Warlord on Gnaw-beast as Verminus? Should I paint the other 20 Clanrats as Verminus too??
I know there’s no real rule beyond your own rule of cool, but I’m loving painting this army and I want it to look great and make thematic sense.
Please let me have your opinions on how to proceed!
