So I decided to give keto a shot…
Fed my diet into ChatGPT and had it make the adjustments for keto.
Starting stats: 6’0 tall, 220 LBS
After first month I am down to 213 LBS,
I feel “lighter” as in I feel less bloated and didn’t struggle too much to adhere to the “under25g” of carbs rule.
The purpose of starting this diet is because I want to shed fat and tone up. My Hume shows that I am currently at 25% body fat, 158.5 LBS of lean body mass and a base metabolic rate of 1924 KCAL. Besides the lack of energy felt when I work out once in a while, I have zero complaints.
My question is: Is there a percentage of fat macros that is the “sweet” spot for keto? For example, they say for muscle growth you want to consume 1 - 1.5g of protein per pound. Is there a certain amount of grams of fat or percentage of the date that should be consumed?
