I’ve been thoroughly enjoying spending time in my garden this Spring. I am attracting a lot of birds which is exactly my goal. We had a very large tree fall in a wind storm last year so I planted a coral bark japanese maple and a shade garden on the slope, and things are finally starting to fill in. I’m going to slowly add more to the hillside to stabilize the slope and progressively replace the English ivy that was here with less invasive alternatives.
