My fiance and I are watching for the first time and we just finished season 5. A family member spoiled it for me that this was her final season, so we've been watching it knowing that the wedding likely wouldn't happen. But wow, what a great way to end it. My fiance started crying. I can't believe a 40 year old show holds up so well. We're about to start season 6.

I've been watching this season and all the playoff games I'm about to. What makes the Avs so good? Why are they the huge favorite to win it all?
