Hello, I am hoping I can get a serious response to my request. I reached out via inbox about my issue and received a really unhelpful response.

I wrote 'Hello Admin,

I am a moderator on (my subreddit) and as you can see it is a fairly large subreddit. Over time all of the other moderators have become inactive except myself and [other mod]. I have been keeping in contact with [other mod] for years but recently they have stopped responding and stopped moderating for several months. Their last response to me was in January and their last mod action was in March. For some reason despite no longer taking on any mod duties, they are not listed as inactive and because they are above me in the mod order list I can't remove any of the inactive mods above me.

Now that I am on my own I am looking to recruit a few new moderators to help me control the sub properly and revamp the rules but I would like to be made the lead moderator now so I have better control. I do not intend to remove [other mod] in case they do return but the others have been gone over a year and I would really like them gone.

I cant attatch photos but I have proof that i have repeatedly reached out to [other mod] and received no response.'

The response I received was 'Hi there,

You have everything permissions, but there's another top mod that's active in the list. You would need to reach out to them for this. Thanks'

This response is totally unhelpful to me right now! I am currently on my own and I don't know why the other mod is still showing them as active when the mod log shows they have been inactive for over 2 months! I am on my own here and if I give up there will be nobody on a sub that gets 2million visitors a month! I need some help but more importantly I need a genuine response from Admin and that isnt what i received.
