What footing for floor jack
Hi. Need some advice. I have a 650lb fish tank (everything including water added up). I am installing in my house. I have an easily accessible crawl space. I want to support the floor joists so I don’t risk sagging or damaging my house. I am planning on putting in a metal floor jack that supports a 6x6 piece of treated lumber directly under the tank. What footing is appropriate for this?
Videos keep saying to buy a “concrete pad around 3 inches thick” however I can’t find them in Home Depot website. I know pavers won’t work but on the Home Depot site all I see is concrete is retaining wall blocks. They are the appropriate size. Will they work?
I am trying to avoid pouring a slab.
Thanks for any advice!
