I got one of those 3-day trips for 169 and would like to use it at Park City in early January, but the rep said they don't yet have availability for anything past Dec 31, and to wait until October.

Does it usually take that long for them to open availability? I'm worried the hotel will be fully booked for January by then, or that flights will be $$$.

Also having a mandatory $99 fee during the whole ski season is annoying, but still worth it.

I’ve got 10 of these unfinished white oak cabinet doors that i need to finish for a vanity.

What’s a good finish that a beginner can expect good results from, especially given the reeded surface?

Looking for something non-yellowing and good water resistance.

I have some Bona Mega finish from a prior floor finishing project but am hesitant to use it on cabinetry, especially since its not an even surface.

I looked up Armor Guard UV and it seems finicky to apply (per reddit posts), even on flat surfaces.

Other things I’m considering: Rubio Monocoat, General Finishes High Performance, Saman Varnish.

Do i need to Seal the wood first to keep Tannins out of the finish?

Any ideas for lessening the white wood filler tracks along the panel? I’m working with what I’ve got here and not expecting to get rid of them fulley.

it’s a smaller project and one-off so i am willing to pay more for a product that will be faster/easier to apply.

Thanks!
