[Online][GMT]-ish[Sundays][Other]Dolmenwood but D100 (BRP/Mythras-Light)

We are looking for 2 possibly 3 more players for a Dolmenwood campaign. Sunday afternoons GMT-ish using a d100 system (largely Mythras based). Myself and two others are in different countries across Europe and Sundays in the afternoon works for us. Despite the time zone anyone from anywhere is welcome, as long as you are realistic about being able to make the time consistently.

Language: English is our common language.

Themes, references: Goblin Market—Christina Rossetti, Gormenghast—Mervyn Peake, Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell—Susanna Clarke, The King of Elfland’s Daughter—Lord Dunsany, Krabat—Ottfried Preußler, Labyrinth—Jim Henson, Legend—Ridley Scott, Princess Mononoke—Hayao Miyazaki, Spirited Away—Hayao Miyazaki, The Wicker Man—Robin Hardy.

In terms of style - going very strongly for strange-whimsy-fey-woods with secrets and factions of the woods being a big part of the game, lots of magic, not much combat, strange creatures, locations, elf-roads and fey-realms, dangerous locations, odd people, fungi, poisons, corruption, grumpy church authority, wicked knights, witches, Drunes, chaos, talking badgers.

We are not using the OSE d&d system which the setting is written in, we are using a BRP/Mythras-lite somewhat homebrewed system, similar to Call of Cthulhu d100 games. This means a more down-to-Earth tone of the characters and the game. This is not going to be a dungeoncrawl murderhobo or even much of a hexcrawly game (although admittedly, we are using the Dolmenwood hexmap) since the environment is largely known in terms of settlements, geography and active factions. There are nevertheless plenty of secrets to uncover and factional machinations going on.

We are planning to start around the end of June, perhaps on the June 21nd Solstice.

If you get in touch we can take it from there.
