Ongezellig if it was a four season series + movie

This is my plot for Ongezellig if it had four seasons + movie

First season: Pilot, Maya tries to become more confident but bullies hold her back, Maya becomes more confident with talking to her sisters and getting advice from them and they grow more close

Second season: Maya, Coco, and Mymy go to Amsterdam and spend time in festival. At the end of the day, they watch the fireworks. Eiko and Mymy meet + Mymy backstory + Mymy overcoming childhood trauma, Coco semifinal rugby match, Coco meets someone she likes and they grow closer, Running in the 60’s band performance with Vera as a special guest

Third season: Coco final rugby match, Coco and her crush kiss and they get together. Coco gets very sick. Soei screams at Maya for being a mistake after a huge argument. Coco gets admitted to hospital + Coco back story + Coco death, Maya overcoming her death and she becomes sociable

Fourth season (next school year): New classmate (Chloe) who is Ongezellig, Maya wants to make her sociable even when Coco appears to her in a dream and says it’s not worth it. Maya learns more about Chloe’s backstory and Chloe becomes more sociable as well. Maya starts to learn why she was Ongezellig in the first place. New classmate is part of a gang family

Movie: Due to the dutch police onto them, Chloe’s family take her and they leave. Maya, Mymy, Vera, Eiko, and the rest of the class team up and go in groups to find her. They learn more about the family and how it’s an incredibly abusive family going for several generations. They later all fight to bring her back, with Chloe learning to completely open up as she sees people caring for her, and Maya becoming fully confident in herself.

Back home, they all get admitted to a hospital where they think about what just happened. Maya’s mom (Soei) gets a little concerned for Maya but she still doesn’t care about her. Maya’s dad (Ravi) listens to whatever Soei says.

1 year later, everyone graduates and they go to college. Maya stays back for a while and Soei and Maya still don’t get along well. They have a huge argument where Maya exposes her years of lies and gaslighting. Maya leaves. Soei contemplates on her life where she was abused as a child and abandoned by her parents after she was pregnant with Maya. She thinks of apologizing to Maya but doesn’t as she thinks Maya doesn’t deserve an apology. Her ego got the best of her.

10 year time skip where Maya, Mymy, Chloe, and everyone else reunites. Coco watches from a distance, smiling at Maya, with Maya noticing her and smiling back. Maya, Mymy, Chloe, Eiko, Vera, and the entire class view the fireworks.

After deciding to sail off to a small island off the Belgian coast and conquering it as their own, Mymy and Kiki draw their swords.

They decide to duel. For possession of the island…and to decide once and for all who is better: Samurai or Pirates.

Mymy, with a newfound interest in Japanese culture from a fateful interaction with Eiko, faces off against the Somalian pirate and her masterful sword skills.

Mymy is weaker in sword fighting combat, but she knows she’s physically stronger. This is anyone’s match.

They start to duel, swords clashing quickly, metal scraping against metal. Mymy, with her speed, tries to get a good hit but can’t break through Kiki’s defenses. Kiki suddenly goes for the offensive, forcing Mymy to go on the defensive as she struggles not to get hit.

Clash Shing Clash Clash

Every hit forces Mymy to go backward, making her go to the edge of the island.

“Give it up Mymy, you’re nothing compared to me.”

“No, I’m not done yet. Never!” Mymy trembles.

Kiki smirks. “Us pirates will rule the seas forever.”

Swish

In one swift motion, Mymy finds an opening and barely escapes. Suddenly, she rushes toward Kiki.

A head on attack? So predictable.

Suddenly, Mymy jumps and faces Kiki upside down in the air. With one swift motion, she slashes as Kiki’s neck.

Clang!

Kiki barely manages to block it, but Mymy’s strength starts to overpower her. Kiki barely manages to parry Mymy’s katana, making Mymy defenseless. And in one swift motion, Kiki slashes Mymy decisively.

Mymy rolls onto the ground before hitting a rock. A piece of her shirt is ripped off. Mymy and Kiki look at each other and smile. The winner was decided, although it was a close one. Kiki stretches out her hand to Mymy.

They watch the sunset, and later, the stars in the night sky. Behind them lie a Japanese and a pirate flag.

With Mymy talking about becoming class representative and Kiki’s Pirate Club being antithetical to the Mymy’s VOC, it would be interesting to see both of them debate to become class representative.

Mymy would quickly get Stan to print Kiki slander, and Kiki would promote pirate propaganda. Vera starts to take down their posters before realizing she gets paid way too less to do this.

On debate day, it would quickly go from talking about school policies to a full on debate on the VOC vs Pirates. At the end, the class picks their candidates according to their position in the class roster and Mymy and Kiki tie. Maya gets anxious as everyone is watching her to make a decision and she switches between Mymy and Kiki.

“Mymy is my sister, but she’s really annoying at times”

“I don’t know Kiki that much, but she was really nice to me this morning and I don’t want to let her down!”

Ultimately she picks Mymy and hates the fact that she ruined Kiki’s chance of becoming class representative and wonders if Kiki hates her. But in reality, Kiki didn’t hate her. And if she did, that wouldn’t be Maya’s fault.

If Ongezellig was made into a four season series, this is exactly how I’d imagine her to turn out after overcoming her social anxiety

She’d find her favorite style and would be an optimistic person. She stops covering her eye and instead sees the world with her own two eyes.

She would truly be confident.
