New host question
hi 👋 I have a question in r regards to when interest and bookings tend to pick up for new listings. I recently listed my 2 bedroom home on Airbnb at $220 per night, plus a $140 cleaning fee. I only have three reviews at the moment, and bookings have been really slow. I have 5 stars and my booking rate is 1.8% after being active for 1 month. I’m in a fairly large city on the West Coast, tourist hotspot. How long did it take for your bookings to pick up you started out? how far in advance to people tend to book, or is last min more common?
My photos are top notch and the house is on the high-end with full kitchen/laundry room/hot tub/designer furniture/entire home and great curb appeal. To me it seems like it could be a top contender, but I’m aware I might need to adjust my price to get people in the door as it’s new.
