I'm cycling my tank rn, adding some fish food and filter media from an already established pond in the filter itself, I was thinking of a betta, but after searching for ideas, I decided to ask the professionals in the hobby. BEFORE ANYONE ASKS, I NEED IDEAS NOW SO I CAN GET THE FISH A MONTH OR 2 FROM NOW. I've had fish before and have a stock pond for blue tilapia for eating purposes so I'm relatively experienced, but I'm well aware of my lack of advanced knowledge. Any ideas or advice is appreciated. Plant bulbs have been added tho floater plants are hard to come by in texas.
