Found this on one of my many journeys into the North, it was in a town on the Alaska highway
Hope it fits, enjoy the pictures

Just a pretty neat top break revolver, 4 digit serial no letter prefix dated 1930, again shoots better then I can, it came in the holster 20years or so ago is a fine example, it also came with original 1940-43 dated ammo, the holster was made in Calgary as is stamped but I don’t believe it to be from the 40’s, was purchased again for a meagre sum, it’s spent more time in the shade then the daylight the last few years
I bought this some time ago, as far as I can tell, it’s a Canadian marked smith and wesson from ww2, likely pre-victory model as it is broad arrow stamped, some time after the war Parker hale got a hold of it re-lined the barrel, cylinder, and put in a new extractor and proofed it for 22lr, then someone or someplace from the Alberta fish and game association got a hold of it and put a nice medallion on the grip, Parker hale also re-blued it as the original smith and Wesson symbol on the right side has been polished and is quite faint.
It shoots straight and likely better then I can manage, it’s well built and I do enjoy shooting it from time to time, it was purchased for a meagre sum some years ago now, please enjoy the pictures
Cheers
