Im trying to get my M3 overhauled by Don Goldberg aka Dagcamera. And he was asking for a good cover letter? I’m not sure what he means by that. Expectations? Needs? Anyone else have experience doing this? What do I write?
I recently acquired an M3 and I see it’s the last one in a batch before a change and it’s below 1 million. I was just wondering if that makes it worth anything it’s the last one before they started the Leica M3 ELC in 1960.
I just got this Leica M3 in a lot of other cameras. And it has a summicron 50mm f2 rigid attached. The serial number is 998000 which is the last one before I guess another model was made? But I have no idea how much this camera would be worth. I’m not in a position where I can comfortably keep this camera with peace of mind. I need to sell it to make ends meet.
