Why does Law and Order have two episodes named Severance? One is season 2 episode 13, the other is season 21 episode 8.

Did they forget they already had one named Severance?

I really miss the random people they'd talk to with the really thick New York accents. They show up all the time in the earlier seasons but in the continuation stuff? Never.

I also miss how the episode starts with random people just going about their lives and they stumble upon a body. Do we really need to see the victim before the crime happens?

With this past episode, "Accidentally like a Martyr", I think Brady's responsible for something like five confessions in interrogations getting thrown out. Maybe she should stop doing them or something. (Why do the writers like using her to interrogate? Dixon and van Buren almost never did an interrogation but it seems Brady is the go to)

For all the shows they usually end with a "the following was fictional..." the usual disclaimer thing. But some episodes also have one right at the start also in addition. When I watch with my brother or father, I usually say it's because the episode is really close to the crime that actually happened. But is that the case for why they sometimes have the double disclaimer?
