Steam download speed adjusting to E drive (hdd) even though steam and the game updating is on C drive (ssd)
I've been battling this issue for a while but never realised my HDD is the culprit, if im installing files on my SSD, through an app installed on my SSD, why is my C drive running at 0% while the supposedly unitilized one being capped at 100% even though the process could be done entirely without it? I just spent 2 hours doing a 6bg update, 1.5 hours of that time being spent on installing the files because steam refused to use the right drive for the process. Im not the most tech literate person so can someone help me understand and maybe fix this, im at a point where a 90gb download is 2 hours faster to pirate than get off steam?
FYI: The game is battlefield 6, I have 132gb free on my C drive which I think shouldn't cause a problem for a 6gb update?
