Engineering grads from the past ~5 years, please help with real data

I'm tired of the hyper optimistic looking employmemt stats everywhere (90% grads employed within 3 months of graduation).

I've experienced first hand how brutal it is to get a job relevant to your field in this market. So please help me gather a realistic picture of what's up:

Year graduated:

First job title, post graduation:

Time taken to obtain first relevant job:

First salary in relevant job:

Your field (Optional): (Mechanical/Civil/CS, etc)

I keep thinking there are way too many graduates for the limited number of jobs I see posted online. Especially when I see the number of applicants in some. Yes I know, not all are qualified or even onshore, but still.

My details:

Year graduated: 2023

First job title: Junior Engineer

Time taken to obtain first relevant job: 1.5 yrs

First salary in relevant job: 55K AUD

My field: Mechanical Engineering
