Got my X2D non combo in today! Went straight in with some TPU and some PLA+ loaded on the auxiliary nozzle.
Gotta be honest I was incredibly nervous of an extruder clog, but luckily that didn’t happen!
I used Sunlu 90A TPU, dried in my Creality Space Pi Plus for around 8-9 hours at 55 C. I think I need to dry for a little bit longer for 100% perfect results, but I was surprised with how well the benchy turned out. I fed it directly from the Space Pi as seen in the photos directly into the tool head.
So far so good, I have since swapped out the TPU on the main nozzle for the PLA+ I have and it’s printing very well.
One thing I did notice is that the filament paths for these printers are very very long - swapping filaments from external spools is not exactly fun.
I did also get the “version 1” with the secondary (no longer used from what I can tell) nozzle cleaner.
