Took two samples at random about 30m apart. Sample area one has slickenlines, multiple varieties of gossan, more bleached and altered looking rock and traces of malachite, iron/sulphides in the quartz veins.

Sample area two is heavily layered rock. There’s manganese oxide, pyrite, chalcopyrite/(maybe) bornite, unidentified silvery-blue coatings that reflect direct sunlight strongly but are otherwise dull-whitish and has dark spots.

Both areas have some deep blackish areas that are unique from both the iron and manganese oxides. Stockwork quartz in both areas that’s filled with either iron and/or the greenish and semi crystalline mineral I suspect is epidote. It’s near known fault lines, wet ground and close to known gold producing territory. Anyone here have anything to add that I missed or got incorrect? Is this area worth assaying and much more thorough sampling?
