My Samsung washer makes a clicking sound when the unit is powered off. When it’s powered on and regardless if a cycle is running, it does not make the noise.
I took the cover off and it seems like the clicking is coming from the heater control board. There is a green light on the main control board that goes on and off with the sound. I’ve unplugged the unit for hours, plugged it back in, and the noise comes back.
Is this indicative of a bad control board or could the heater control board be bad?
