Genital changes

I have had a fasted glucose level of 100 or right above or below ever since around 2019 and have undergone changes to flaccid penile length and I am for lack of a better term numb ,really it’s more like a complete absence of feeling. Is this common with insulin resistance ?

Insulin resistance

Last time I had blood work done I was at a resting blood sugar level of 100 which is right on the line for beginning prediabetes . Everytime I have had my bloodwork done I was at or below or just above that level to best of my memory since the beginning of my hf. How many people in here have had bloodwork showing similar findings ? My alt and ast were both too low for warning signals but low grade inflammation screws up the vascular system endothelial function reproductive system liver kidneys pancreas nervous system muscular skeletal system.

Abstract
Potassium deficiency produced by feeding mice a low potassium diet caused a marked decrease in plasma and testicular testosterone concentrations and a concomitant fall in the weight of seminal vesicles and in renal ornithine decarboxylase activity. All of these parameters were rapidly restored when potassium supply was normalized. Immunocytochemical analysis of gonadotropes and plasma LH values suggested that the pulsatile liberation of LH by the pituitary was impaired in the potassium-deficient male mice. Because the synthesis of testosterone in the potassium-deficient mice was stimulated by exogenous LH, hCG, or GnRH, one can conclude that alteration of the transcellular potassium gradient could affect the regulation of the hypothalamo-hypophyseal-testicular axis by affecting the pulsatile release of GnRH. Our results showing that the stimulation of LH secretion after castration was similar in control and potassium-deficient male mice suggest that a testicular factor(s) different from testosterone could be implicated in the abnormal regulation of LH secretion in potassium-deficient mice. We conclude that plasma potassium concentration is an important factor in the regulation of gonadotropin secretion and testicular functions.

Before mods pull this I know HF isn’t mentioned but it could have everything to with it because potassium’s effect on the muscles/ nervous /reproductive systems. I guess if you do pull it anyway I will just repost if it works. 🤷‍♂️

So I am gonna do an experiment and hopefully not die or get kidney failure or have my heart just stop. Gonna potassium load tomorrow and the next few days and see what happens above and beyond the rda a little more and more till I have any semblance of normalcy or an actual problem. When my problem started developing I was only doing 2 meals a day then just one just to not die and drinking like a fish post surgery so I probably depleted myself of potassium dramatically. Blood tests only measure what’s in the blood but only 1% of total potassium is found in there and the rest is in the cells and the body will pull from there to keep potassium exactly where it needs to be. I found myself in the ER at one point bc I had irregular heart rhythm chest pain and was fine the next day after eating (chest pain wise) I never put two and two together bc I didn’t know shit about potassium deficiency. Just gonna load up on potassium foods bc I am not gonna risk ODing with potassium pills .

How many people used antibiotics and or had poor gut health to their knowledge prior to developing hard flaccid? Poorly digested food can stem from damaged livers gallbladder issues pancreas issues and the intestines themselves .
