I have been using the Pit Boss Platinum lockhart since 2021 and have been wanting to upgrade and get something more in line of what I want out of a pellet grill. Since I have had this lockhart, I realized searing on somthing I mainly use for smoking purposes if not very wise if its not going to be cleaned well all the time. Which is why im just looking for a smoking only use type. I was super sold on the Weber pellet grills but saw one in person and did not like the layout in anyway. Im leaning towards a Rectec 1600 Flagship... not for the size, but because it has a smoke stack. I wish the BYB had the smoke stack since I heard horrible things on the slits on the back of the lid. What others should I look at? Are slits really that bad compard to smoke stack? Thanks in advance
