For context I am new to all this, I have finally got into a good healthy pattern of working out this year. At first I just got me a cheap bench and a set of dumbbells 5-25lbs and used this for a bit but I noticed I wasn't getting much muscle fatigue with my workouts within a month after purchase so I now I purchased a 300lb barbell set but I have no rack.. I on a tight budget here.. I got the Barbell set for around 300$ with tax and felt that was a good price, the bar is solid and though the plates are cast and not bumper I am happy to have some heavier weight now and even just using 1 45# plate for chest sets is more rewarding now. I will add more items as I find good deals on FB Market or decent sales.

That being said I do not have much budget for this and this is where my dilemma is.. I have about 600$ I can spend.. I have limited space also but I am sure I can fit a rack into my shed without pissing the misses off too much. I found on Amazon these options :

REP Fitness PR-1100 Power Rack Home Gym System

Mikolo Power Cage - I know there is a cheaper one but figured maybe the aluminum pulleys would be a benefit.

I also found a REP PR-1100 used on FBM but was just rack and for 200.. figured the one above is a better deal as if I bought the Lat Pull down separately I would be around same price point anyways. There are so many cheap racks out there and it overwhelming and I can't afford something extravagant and I can already see this being a lot like other expensive hobbies lol so I need to just get something I can use and share with my family and hopefully encourage and grow from.

Any reasonable advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks and be kind and mindful that though I wish I could afford a Rogue setup or Bells of steel I can't.. not till my kids move out and are successful and living on their own at least lol.

So after noticing that the price for the REP was over 800 on regular Amazon but for my business account it was 300 cheaper I decided to pull trigger on that and purchased it and added a few goodies to scratch the itch.

Thanks all.
