The UI, the player base, the lag, everything was horrendous, but I remember it being a lot of fun. What do you remember when playing AOE II during this era?

All of the above seem to have multiplied significantly.
Do you ever Giga 5TC boom as a pocket, while your flank absolutely gets obliterated by his flank and enemy pocket?

Why do you do this
What are some civs that could use some reworks? Considering a lot of other civs had some reworks, new civs were introduced etc.
