Hi all. I’ve been on oral finasteride 1mg for three years and oral minoxidil 2.5mg for one year.

I’ve just started oral dutasteride 0.5mg last week which I’ve been taking daily alongside my standard dose of finasteride.

I was wondering how long I should continue to take finasteride to try and minimise any shedding and when to start tapering off finasteride?

When I started oral finasteride and swapped from topical to oral minoxidil, I never encountered noticeable shedding so I’m hoping I don’t encounter a big shed starting dut!
