I am trying to practise swimming with fins and paddles but swimming pools in Singapore are so strict.
I live towards the northwest part of Singapore and getting to OCBC aquatic centre is so out of the way. I'm just surprised ActiveSG has decided to do a blanket ban on these equipments instead of allowing it during lull periods or designating lanes to allow equipment usage. Sadly HomeTeamNS and SAFRA also put a blanket ban. I usually visit the pool at 12pm and sometimes I'm the only swimmer in the entire pool.
I'm trying to look for an alternative, if anyone knows any, towards the north or west of Singapore. Hopefully somewhere not so far and also not so daunting (OCBC has many competitive athletes, I feel like I'm in the way of them)
Also, at this point I don't mind if any private pool has pay per entry fee, will gladly pay to use.
