I’m about one year out from 120 months of qualifying employment. I will have almost two years’ worth of payments to buy back because of the SAVE forbearance.

I’m saving in preparation for a huge buyback amount. It will cost less in the long run because my income (and monthly payment) has increased, but I’m curious about other people’s experiences. Are your buybacks thousands of dollars?
