My now husband and I got married Saturday April 25th with a honeymoon booked to Greece. the first part of the trip was through American Airlines. The flight was delayed which would cause us to miss both our connecting flights. We were rebooked and that flight was delayed again. We are devastated… What was supposed to be a once in a life time beautiful adventure caused us to loose out on lost luggage, information not being relayed properly to us, delayed flights, emotional stress, loss of time for our honeymoon. we were supposed to arrive in Greece Monday at 1:55pm Santorini time start our new life as newly weds but instead we now lost out on a whole day and traveling for now almost days… we are completely devastated that American Airlines has not been able to accommodate anything to help with the stress and the emotional toll on our honeymoon… We are upset, it feels like we are getting pushed aside and not receiving any help… which is then adding more stress to try get to Greece to enjoy our honeymoon. Our once in a life time event.
