Breaking Into Data Analytics role as a new grad.
Hi, I am preparing to graduate with a degree in Business Analytics and Information Systems. I currently live in a small coastal city in Texas where most employment opportunities are concentrated in the oil industry. I have been actively applying to multiple entry‑level roles in cities such as San Antonio, Austin, and Dallas, but so far, I have received rejections or no responses.
During my studies, I earned my Google Analytics certificate while taking six courses at once, and I have also been building projects to showcase on my GitHub. I would appreciate any guidance on how I can strengthen my resume or application materials to encourage recruiters to take a closer look. My academic experience includes work with data mining, predictive analytics, Power BI, Python, SQL, and Tableau.
