Should I bring my cat home after euthanasia so my other pets can say goodbye?

Our oldest cat will be crossing the rainbow bridge soon and I don’t know what to do.

She’s one of our six pets and they’re like our children. We’ve never had to help a pet cross over and I’m not sure how to plan (I’m a planner)

She’s still having mostly good days but has some health concerns and was diagnosed with cancer last week. She’s a very happy cat.

She’s very old and we don’t want to make her go through treatment. We plan to keep her comfortable and closely monitor her quality of life.

We’re going back and forth between burial and cremation and currently leaning toward cremation.

My question is, should we need to bring her home and let our pets say goodbye?

I’m primarily concerned about our oldest dog. They are very close and every time we bring her home from the vet he has to do a fully inspection of her.

It just feels wrong to think we’d leave with her and come home with an empty carrier and they don’t get to say goodbye…
