I have an E-ZPass and normally everything works fine, but I’m running into an issue with a $4.10 Pay By Plate charge that won’t clear.

I’ve already added funds to my balance on the MA tolls website, but the $4.10 is still showing. When I try to pay it, the system says I need an invoice. I contacted customer service, and they told me there is no invoice and that the charge has already been paid.

It’s been a few days, and the $4.10 balance is still on my account along with a message saying my account has insufficient funds and that I need to pay to avoid fees or a hold on my registration.

Has anyone dealt with this before or knows how to resolve it?
