Found this very large bone, and was really intruiged with it, entirely due to the size and shape.

I'm aware that it's quite old and eroded, I also left it on the beach due to traveling through security on the way home, so no further images are available.

It was around 12-14 inches long, it's hard to get a sense of scale from the pictures, I didn't think about that at the time.

Just keep in mind, that im a giant human, with giant hands.

If you've ever met someone with uncomfortably large hands, mine are that size aswell.

I really don't want to undersell the size of it.

It was massive!

Found on West Coast of Scotland

Hey guys, sorry if this isn't a high quality post, it's my first time here.

These are the only pictures I took of the object, which I'm assuming is some kind of bone, given the internal structure that has been revealed by erosion.

I left it on the beach, as I didn't want to explain my big beautiful bone to security on the way home.

It was roughly 12 inches on its longest side, and surprisingly light, perhaps only a few hundred grams.

Any idea what kind of creature this used to be?

Or was it even bone atall?

Thanks for your time!
