Brick test

So I've been practicing for my pretest (after failing the brick test the first time) which was very humiliating for me, as I thought i was a stronger swimmer. They have let me come and practice, and I've been coming to the pool as often as I can. I can now swim with the brick, but I am nervous about the test.

Im doing the American Red Cross pretest, and I have no trouble with the endurance test or treading water. But the brick scares me. I've never been the best at swimming underwater without plugging my nose. Since I've begun practicing, I have noticed improvement. Dropping my hips in the water while the brick is on my chest has helped.

Any other tips? I test again in 2 days.
