my sister accidentally shut the door on my cats tail as he was waking in and as i tried touching him he got very defensive and started biting

and when i started stroking his back he usually sticks his tail up straight but this time it curved and half of it was falling down

it only happened around 30 mins ago but he’s not showing any other bad signs and is acting normal

does anyone know what i should do and if he’s gonna be okay?
