Got detained for a while when walking my drunk friend home, got out of that mess and got him home then took a scooter back to my apartment. Was dealing with a lot mentally last night, still am, I ended up falling about half a mile from my place and not really trying to avoid it I just wanted to crash and for my ride to end.
Punched the sidewalk out of rage and laid on the concrete for a few minutes while cars drove past me, then a van pulls over and a guy hops out of it to check on me. He leaves his van running on the side of the road while he helps me get back to my place. We talk for a bit, I find out he has the same name as me. I get back to my place, give him a hug and tell him thanks. Started walking up my stairs, not even more than 5 seconds later, I turn around to wave bye and he’s gone like he was never there. Probably because he left his van running, lol.
