DS160 for J1

Hey Everyone, Anyone who filled their DS160 for J1 Appointment? I've a few questions and would really appreciate the help in filling some sections of the form.

1- Who to mention as "Entity Paying for the trip?" Should it be self or the employer?

2- "Specific Travel Plans" here they ask about the date of arrival as well as departure from the U.S. Should I say " No specific travel plans" and only mention the date of arrival to the U.S?

3- I'm currently not doing any Job. Is it okay to choose "Uneemployed"?

Help in finding an apartment in Buffalo

Hey everyone, I feel so lost looking for apartments on apartment.com and Zillow. Most of the reviews say about giving on-site tours and not trusting images shows on websites. I'll be coming on a work visa to the US few days before my Job starts and I still can't find an apartment closer to Mercy Hospital. I've not heard good reviews about Collegiate Village and also heard Trcio and Rails are overpriced. I'm looking for 1 BR apartment with in-unit W/D ang my budget is around 1500$. If anyone knows of a decent and safe place, please let me know in comments.

Hi, I'm looking for 1 bedroom apartment in Buffalo that's closer to Sisters of Charity and Mercy Hospital. Since I won't have a car for few months, I'm looking for apartment that is reasonably closer to both hospitals so I don't get overcharged by Uber or may get a bike for commute. Most apartments in Buffalo are really old and don't have in-unit washer/dryer. Can someone suggest any apartments which are affordable and have good mantainance with in-unit washer/dryer. My Budget is 1300-1500$.

Submitted my J-1 Application on 04/14 and it says "Submitted and in Queue". Anyone who received DS2019 can tell how many days it took for the application to approve? Thanks!

I matched into a small community hospital without in-house fellowships in internal medicine. I want to be clear, this isn’t coming from a place of ingratitude. I’m genuinely grateful for the opportunity to train and practice medicine in the U.S. But at the same time, it’s hard to ignore the anxiety that comes with it. I graduated from one of the top medical schools in my country, worked hard for strong USMLE scores, got LORs from some of the best places in the U.S and always had a clear goal of pursuing GI. After speaking with residents from this program, I’ve realized fellowship placement, especially into highly competitive fields isn't good here and most residents practice as hospitalists. That uncertainty has been weighing on me. Sometimes it feels like a dream I’ve worked toward for years may no longer be within reach. I know this might come across as ungrateful to some, but I hope others can understand where I’m coming from.
