Hi all, I just came across this sub but I've had flight anxiety for a long time and have been dealing with it with assistance from a *certified professional* (don't want to violate rule #6). I'm in the US and every summer, my husband, stepson, & I fly to the UK to visit my husband's family. The *assistance* I've been receiving has helped a lot but it does make me very tired and the overnight flight is really challenging. Both my husband & my SS love flying, and my SS doesn't even know that I'm an anxious flyer (and I'd prefer not to tell him). My question is, does anyone here ever fly in an upgraded cabin by themselves? It would help me a lot to have some more space, be able to get some rest, etc, but it's financially impossible to upgrade all three of us to a nice cabin. I'm just not sure how I'd message that to my SS. Does anyone fly separately from their family?
