In my Gen 1 Nissan Leaf (2013), I could set a climate-only timer so that the car was nice and toasty in the mornings, and the car would still charge immediately any time it was plugged in.

I don't seem to be able to do that with the Equinox?

The only way I can find to precondition the climate seems to be to set a charging timer and toggle the 'preconditioning' option, but then that will delay charging until the set time instead of allowing the vehicle to charge immediately when plugged in.

Is there any way to achieve this so that I don't have to remember to use the app to start warming it up every morning?
