Model Rocket (😃7.99, 😮6.62, 🤢4.60)

Mini roller coasters get a lot of hate, and deservedly so. Their cars lose speed so quickly.

But- this can sometimes be an advantage.

Using hilly terrain, you can make the lift hill much higher. Now, the coaster has plenty of speed (but not too much, like would be the case if it were a looping coaster).

Still doesn’t make much money… about $6,000/hr (could probably charge more, but eh)

Loch Ness Monster (😃7.82, 😮6.82, 🤢3.57)

I wanted to build a custom coaster that interacts with its environment in a few interesting ways. The goal was not to max stats (although that is fun too). I just wanted to build a ride that would be *somewhat* realistic and fun to go on :)

Enjoy the Loch Ness Monster!

Path Bonus Tip- Build the End of the Ride First

Probably a number of you have already knew this, but this discovery recently changed how I design custom coasters.

Path bonuses add so much excitement, but I hate when I have to shoehorn them in! With this woodie, I was pleasantly surprised how it all worked out, and the solution was so simple- just build the end of the ride first.

The first part of the coaster I made was the water splash (and of course I had to redo that because the first time I did it backwards). Next, I put down the path bridges.

In the past I would have put the station down first. The station can go anywhere though, so why not start with the parts that need correct positioning to work?

That’s all. Happy Friday!

Parallel Peaks (😃8.45, 😮9.40, 🤢5.54)

I was playing around with the ride designer, and I stumbled onto a design I really like. The trains are weirdly (coincidentally) in sync with each other. Of course, the timing is only perfect right after the coaster is tested or first opened.
