Although I like SFAWTDE, and I like Wifies, I absolutely HATE when the ARG gets way too 'high budget' or like 'marvel esque'.
I like SFAWTDE, But I feel like it could've been so much better if it had just kept the mysterious factor like the first part had.
There was also another video Wifies made where I think it involved someone mining bedrock for years, and I didn't like how scripted it felt, and obviously Minecraft ARGs are scripted, But I dont like when they FEEL scripted if that makes sense.
Like I remember i think Wifies "hacking" or something into like a big evil corporation and then found the protagonist who was mining bedrock (i think thats what happened), and it just got so outlandish to the point where it was good, sure, But just not as good as it could've been.
I dont agree when people say Wifies "ruined" Minecraft ARGs, However I do think it has led to way more obviously scripted and big budget outlandish ARGs, which can be good to a certain extent, But a lot of the time, at least to me, it falls flat or ends up being meh.
