Houseplant help snake plant
Hi New here and not sure if houseplants come under this heading. Please redirect if applicable.
I’ve had a snake plant (sensevieria) since 2003 and the story may go further back. She’s old, bless her, and of sentimental value.
It’s been in a fairly shady position much of the time but is now in an indirectly sunny south facing spot. The leaves have grown fairly long and I guess they’ve been reaching for light until now. I’ve repotted it twice in my time with it. This second time I’ve decided to take more care and put it in a smaller tub in succulent and cactus compost.
Here’s the issue. I’ve noticed the root ball is still tiny. I expected it to have got bigger in the last 5 years or so. Is this normal for snake plants?
