So much spit up on Alimentum
I have a 10.5 week old who had been on Similac 360 sensitive since day 2 of life. We started on Similac. 360 but she was spitting up so the nurses recommended that she switch to sensitive. She still spit up, but mostly seemed like a happy spitter so we stayed on the sensitive. At 7 weeks she seemed upset with some of the spitup so she was started on famotidine twice a day. Last week she had two stools with mucus so our pediatrician had us switch to RTF Similac alimentum. We've been on it three days and the spitup is so much worse it seems and she's also fussier. She had been sleeping through the night since 8 weeks, but woke up for a feed in the middle of the night tonight. I'm worried with all the spitup that she isn't eating enough now. Has anyone else experienced this? I've read about people using gelmix to thicken alimentum and would obviously consult our pediatrician before using, but just wanted to see if there were any other experiences similar to ours.
