Hi everyone, I was trying to replace a cracked tail light on my '08 tacoma (original tail lights). The top bracket of the old light snapped where the plastic connects to the metal mount. I now cannot unscrew the top screw to replace the unit.

What I've tried: PB blaster on the screw then holding in place with pliers while trying to unscrew, replacing the light unit in attempt to hold the broken mount in place while unscrewing

Note: I got the new left tail light on just fine before this one

Any suggestions before I take it to a shop for help? The electronics plug is wrapped in plastic so it is safe from water while it sits uncovered. TIA.
