Hiii! I recently started playing video games. I've already played a few but I have trouble with Resident Evil Village. I'm going to try and explain as best as I can but I don't know all the specific game terms yet.
The sound and cut scenes don't sync, the sound goes faster than the audio and honestly I've given up on trying to find out what's wrong with the subtitles speed. And I'm also having trouble with the gameplay. For the people who know RE8 at the beginning when I'm playing as Ethan in the house (putting rose in her crib/ exploring the house) the gameplay works perfectly. But the problem comes after when he's exploring the forest/abandoned house after he was taken by Chris' men. I can't walk in the game properly, it always bugs, there's like this slow-motion effect every few seconds and it affects the camera too when looking around.
At the beginning I thought I messed around too much with the display settings so I went back to reset them and restarted the game. Same problem. I uninstalled the game then installed it again. Same problem. I also turned off my pc and restarted it but it also didn't help. At this point I think I restarted the game 5 times and I can't find the problem.
My pc supports the game. I have the systems requirements, I checked. I haven't had this problem with the other games I've played (including Resident evil 2,3,4 (remakes) and 7. ) and I don't know if this helps but I use Steam and I bought the game on Instant gaming, it's the Gold edition. I did this with most of the games I've played.
